About Chinese Gourmet
Chinese Gourmet is a chinese restaurant in Signal Hill, California. It is listed at 1810 E Willow St, Signal Hill, CA 90755, which places it among the local businesses of Signal Hill that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Signal Hill; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10:30 am–8:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (562) 290-8818. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, chinesegourmetca.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 234 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Signal Hill and suggests consistent service.

I googled best Chinese food in long beach. Someone been lying to Google, because this place is garbage. I didn't recognize the taste of anything. Even the thai tea was horrible. They were extremely nice, tho. My dogs already know what's for dinner....

The cream cheese wontons here are always made fresh. Everything tastes fresh. Convenient, Quick, hot meal. My only gripe is the entrees here including the cream cheese wontons are on the sweeter side.

Me and my son just came in for 3 entree combo. They show a lot of love to say the least and honestly I haven't had Chinese this good since my child hood. Just discovered this place, and I can say it just became our go to spot. Honestly this plate just feed me, my son, and my wife who swore she hates Chinese food till she tried this place. BBQ pork / mushroom chicken / orange chicken plate

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I can honestly say everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I’ve had the orange chicken, mixed vegetables, kung pao chicken, jalapeño chicken, chicken curry, egg rolls, and chicken egg rolls — all consistently good every time. The staff is amazing as well. They’re professional, friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. You can tell they care about both the food and the customers. My only complaint is that they’re closed on Sundays… but honestly, I get it. They deserve a day off and probably can’t spoil me with good food seven days a week. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

Great service and delicious food. I've been going here for few a years now for lunch and the Spicy tofu is my go to. Phil always hooks it up for me. I put all my co-workers on to this spot. I'm vegan but all the food look and smells so good! Whatever is in the new spicy sauce... so BOMB!
